Policy Statement

The Code of Federal Regulations will govern when and how federal student is disbursed to accounts.

Policy Procedures

Aid will be on the Student’s Account before the start of the semester as “Anticipated”. Graduate and Doctoral students may have their aid disbursed on the first day. Undergrad student’s aid will be posted after add/drop week is completed, and registrations are finalized. Students may request a book voucher via the Student Accounts Office should they need assistance purchasing materials prior to the start of classes.

The Financial Aid Office will notify students via email each time there is a disbursement of federal funds to their student accounts. Loans will have the 14-day Right of Rescission. Grants and scholarships will be adjusted should a student withdrawal from a class or multiple classes. Refer to the Refund Schedule for a specific calculations based on the type and amount of withdrawal.
