Title IX
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 states, “No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.”
Non-Discrimination Statement
Carolina University does not engage in unlawful discrimination or harassment because of race, color, ancestry, age, sex, national origin, ethnicity, pregnancy or childbirth, disability, military or veteran status in its educational programs and activities. Carolina University maintains its Christian character but does not discriminate on the basis of religion, except to the extent that applicable law respects its right to act in furtherance of its religious objectives. This includes but is not limited to athletics (NCCAA and Intramural sports), admissions, financial aid, and employment. Carolina University will not tolerate any form of harassment including sexual violence and sexual harassment.
If a person believes that a violation has occurred, please report it to the appropriate Carolina University Compliance Officer listed below. Carolina University will not tolerate any form of retaliation towards a person reporting a violation.
