Policy Statement

The university requires that each resident and commuter student follow specific regulations when visiting individuals off-campus.

Policy Procedures

To visit a single person of the opposite gender living with parents:

1. Prior to the visit, obtain a written invitation from the hosts.
2. If the host family so desires, a blanket invitation may be offered for the period of one semester.

To visit a single person of the opposite gender not living with parents:

1. Prior to each visit, obtain permission from the appropriate Dean.
2. An approved chaperone must be present at all times while visiting the residence.
