An academic degree is different than professional certification. Upon graduation, students will have a Bachelor of Science degree in Deaf Studies, with a concentration in Sign Language Interpreting. There are two organizations that provide sign language interpreters credentials: the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf and Boys Town National Research Hospital.
