Policy Statement

University academic buildings are secured by controlled access readers.

Policy Procedures

All students, facility, and staff are issued ID cards that will allow them entry.

All residence halls (Patterson, Lee, Stevens, and Griffith) are locked 24 hrs. per day. All resident students’ ID cards allow them access to their residence and to Deeds (classrooms). During Christmas and summer breaks, all student cards are deactivated, except those working on campus.

Members of the University community and guests may visit students in campus housing in accordance

with the University visitation policy.

Keys and controlled access ID’s are issued by Student Services. Student Services maintains all databases secured by controlled access readers, and keys.
