Oviatt, Dr. Kent

Dr. Oviatt received his BA and MA at Piedmont International University. He earned his Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Liberty University in July 2023. He has completed his coursework for a PhD in Leadership at Carolina University. He is currently the director of the Deaf Studies Program at Carolina University and teaches at Piedmont Divinity School of Carolina University. Additionally, he is an adjunct at The Crown College of the Bible in Powell, TN, in the undergraduate Deaf studies program. Dr. Oviatt has been married to Denise for 44 years. They have two adult children and currently serve in the Deaf Ministry at a local church in North Carolina.
