About
Dr. Kordilia Noble currently resides in MI. With more than 26 years’ experience in Higher Education, Dr. Kordilia possesses a wealth of knowledge developed through extensive private and public sector work in education and human service. Dr. Noble believes that leadership is about empathy, which she defines as the ability to relate to and connect with people for the sole purpose of inspiring and empowering their lives. She takes pride in her interactions with others, maintaining open lines of communication and cultivating positive relationships among and between students, faculty, colleagues, and community to achieve successful results. Having a passion for Higher Education and helping students achieve success, her academic and professional work experience has attributed Dr. Noble's desire to cultivate others.
In 2020, Dr. Noble graduated from St. Thomas University with a Doctorate in Education with an emphasis in Leadership & Management. Dr. Noble’s dissertation focused on the most disadvantaged ethnicity, African American/Black Women, and how they are viewed relative to career progression and the glass ceiling effect.
Dr. Kordilia, as the author of A Study of Leadership Development, Self-Efficacy and Career Readiness Among African American/Black Women, her civic and social responsibility perspectives are of a very personal nature, which is to mentor individuals relative to their leadership development and be active within the community. Dr. Noble is member of The National Association of Professional Women, Leadership Oakland County, and is a Board Member of CDJ & Associates.
Dr. Noble is a scholar practitioner who has been recently hired to serve as an adjunct professor in leadership at Carolina University and is looking forward to helping learners apply their scholarly knowledge to practical application.
