About

Lauren H. Miller has invested more than 15 years into education and has taught students from elementary age to adult learners. She has taught in several private schools in special education and college preparatory settings, as well as in community college as a teacher assistant program instructor. Mrs. Miller holds her state and ACSI teaching licenses and is a member of the North Carolina Reading Association as well as Kappa Delta Pi. Mrs. Miller has completed a Master of Education in Special Education (Greensboro College) in addition to her Bachelor of Arts in Teacher Education and Bible (Columbia International University). Additionally, she holds certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and spent her undergraduate teaching practicum in Guadalajara, Mexico. Mrs. Miller is passionate about reaching every learner and helping new teachers find ways to meet each student wherever they are. Culturally responsive, trauma-informed, people-first teaching is Mrs. Miller's style and passion. She is excited to have been a part of Carolina University since 2024!
