About
Dr. Wyleia Shawn Miller, originally from Winston-Salem, N.C., has a wealth of international experience. After 20 years of extensive trips, she has become a Researcher and global humanitarian. Her research has taken her to Budapest, Hungary, where she worked with a team on a worldwide comparative study, and Costa Rica – San Jose Province, where she completed research on the international supply chain systematic process, using the construction of a community garden project, Kenya (a Country in East Africa) is where Dr. Miller worked with a research team on a human and social services global study.
Her humanitarian efforts also include visits to the Dominican Republic and the Nine Mile district in Saint Ann Parish, Jamaica. She has also gained international supply chain work experience while living in Pétion-Ville, Haiti, for five years and three years in the Dominican Republic, Santiago Province, where she served as leadership in the production, manufacturing, and shipping operations. Dr. Miller has authored and coauthored employee and volunteer training manuals and successful grant proposals.
In 2018, Dr. Miller graduated from Niagara University with a Doctorate in Leadership and Policy with an Emphasis in Research and Policy. Dr. Miller's dissertation was a Path Analysis based on the statistics published in the 1965 Report of the former Assistant Secretary of Labor, Daniel Patrick Moynihan, who later served as a United States Senator from New York. In addition, Dr. Miller graduated from Trinity Law School with a second master's degree in legal studies, emphasizing non-profit administration.
Based on her academic and professional journey, Dr. Miller is an adjunct professor and dissertation committee member at the John Wesley School of Leadership and the School of Social and Behavioral Science at Carolina University. She dedicates her time to leading people through the paths of illiteracy, transitioning into intellectuals, and becoming profound scholars.
