About

Dr. Khan is a distinguished medical professional and academic with a diverse and accomplished background in public health, obstetrics and gynecology, and clinical research. Born in Lahore, Pakistan, Dr. Khan began her journey in medicine by earning a Medical Doctor degree from King Edward Medical University, Lahore. In 2013, she further specialized in obstetrics and gynecology (OBGYN) from the University of Health and Sciences, Lahore. 

Dr. Khan has extensive experience working in various hospitals across Pakistan. These roles have honed her skills and reinforced her commitment to providing exemplary medical care. Her dedication to the medical profession was further demonstrated during the COVID-19 pandemic, when Dr. Khan participated in a clinical research trial in High Point, North Carolina. In pursuit of advanced education, she completed a PhD in Public Health from Walden University in November 2022. She is also an esteemed member of the American Public Health Association (APHA) and maintains a certification from the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC), allowing her to practice medicine and OBGYN in Pakistan. 

Dr. Khan has a rich history of teaching, having instructed students of all ages—from pre-K to intern doctors—since her early teens. She has a particular passion for science education, frequently teaching subjects such as math, physics, chemistry, biology, and medicine. This lifelong dedication to teaching has positively impacted many lives, fostering a love for science and learning. 

In 1986, Dr. Khan moved to the United States after her marriage, and eventually settled in Lexington, North Carolina, in 1990. Despite their extensive travels and professional commitments, Lexington has been home for over three decades, where she has cherished the local community. Dr. Khan is also a proud parent of three children who are excelling in their respective fields.
