About
Dr. Hensuli S. Kennedy, born in Monrovia, Liberia, and raised in Northern Virginia, is an esteemed Chief Warrant Officer Three and a battle-hardened veteran with almost 21 years of unwavering military service. Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Kennedy completed three combat tours in Iraq and two in Afghanistan. With significant military assignments at Ft. Drum, New York; Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia; Fort Liberty (formerly Fort Bragg), North Carolina; Orlando, Florida; Naval Support Activity, Bahrain; and Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, he demonstrated exceptional leadership and expertise. He developed course curriculum and delivered live lectures on racial and gender microaggression, effective communication, and leadership development for senior leaders, equal opportunity officers, government contractors, and federal government employees in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Florida.
During his tenure at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, Dr. Kennedy collaborated with the Army Education Center to devise a comprehensive curriculum aimed at enhancing Soldiers' Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test scores, focusing on arithmetic reasoning, word knowledge, and paragraph comprehension.
In 2022, Dr. Kennedy's noteworthy attainment included earning a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership with an Emphasis on Higher Education from Grand Canyon University. His groundbreaking dissertation delved into the experiences of black male college students with racial microaggressions, which holds paramount relevance and importance.
In addition to his unwavering military commitments, Dr. Kennedy established "Jahbec Solutions," a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides crucial education resources and mentorship to high-risk youths, demonstrating his steadfast dedication to making a meaningful impact beyond his military service.
