Dr. Lisa Frank is an accomplished healthcare leader and educator. With a career spanning over two decades, Dr. Frank has held numerous high-level positions in the healthcare industry, where she has driven organizational excellence and fostered innovation in care management.

Dr. Frank's journey in healthcare began with a Nursing Degree from Georgian College, followed by a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in healthcare from Columbia Southern University. She continued to advance her education, earning a Master of Business Administration, also with a healthcare concentration, from the University of Colorado at Denver. Her commitment to leadership and education led her to pursue a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership at Grand Canyon University, which she completed in May 2023.

Throughout her career, Dr. Frank has demonstrated a passion for mentoring, educating, and facilitating growth in others. Her leadership roles include serving as Chief Health Services Officer at Banner Health, providing clinical leadership and expertise in the Population Health Services Organization. In this role, she focused on improving the quality and cost of care across the network and within value-based relationships. Prior to this, she was the Executive Director of Post-Acute Services, overseeing the development and implementation of post-acute high-value networks and acting as a liaison to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

As the Chief Operations Officer at Banner Health, Dr. Frank was accountable for the day-to-day operations of acute facilities, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, and various other services. Her efforts led to the facility being recognized as a Truven Top 100 Heart Hospital for three consecutive years. Earlier in her career, as Director of Case Management at both Banner Health and St. Vincent Regional Medical Center, she developed and launched care management services, achieving top rankings within the organization and significantly improving patient throughput and overall length of stay.

Dr. Frank's doctoral dissertation, "A Qualitative Descriptive Study Exploring the Understanding and Practice of Leadership in Hospitals During COVID-19," provides valuable insights into the skills and abilities that hospital leaders require to navigate crises. This research is now available on ProQuest and contributes to the broader understanding of leadership practices during challenging times.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Dr. Frank is deeply committed to ethical leadership, patient-centered care, and continuous learning. She aims to make a meaningful impact in higher education by imparting practical knowledge and leadership skills to students.
