About
Vaneza Fadonougbo’Aku is an Earth and Environmental Science educator with over nine years of teaching experience in both the United States and international settings. She brings a global perspective to her teaching, having taught students from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds. Prior to entering education, she served as a General Manager at Best Buy, where she developed strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills that continue to inform her work in learning environments.
She holds a Master of Education in Secondary Education from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Winston-Salem State University. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Educational Technology, with research focused on how teachers integrate technology to enhance student motivation and learning.
Her teaching and research interests include Earth systems science, student engagement, and the effective integration of technology in education. She holds a North Carolina Educator License and has experience teaching science in both traditional and international classrooms.
In addition to her academic work, she is an emerging author with an upcoming book focused on wisdom and personal growth for young adults.
