About
Ellyson graduated from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, earning her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 2021 and her Master’s in Education in 2022. She began her journey at Carolina University in July 2022 as the Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach, enjoying a successful first season under Athletic Director and Head Coach Chelsea Jones.
In March 2023, Ellyson transitioned to the role of Coordinator of Campus Activities, and her responsibilities have since expanded to include Coordinator of Student Life. In these roles, she plays a vital part in enhancing student engagement and fostering a vibrant campus community, leveraging her educational background and passion for student development.
Before her time at Carolina University, Ellyson worked as an elementary teacher at The Island Academy in San Pedro, Belize, where she also earned her certificate in T eaching English as a Foreign Language. This diverse experience enriches her approach to supporting students and creating inclusive campus experiences.
