About

Dr. Ronald Dasher holds a PhD in Christian Counseling; Master of Science in Psychology with the emphasis in Educational Psychology/Developmental Psychology; and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education.

Dr. Dasher’s career began in 2009 as an adjunct instructor of psychology at Mitchell Community College and a year later, his teaching expanded to include Central Piedmont Community College and Rowan-Cabarrus Community College. Dr. Dasher left these colleges in 2019 and was hired by Pfeiffer University as an adjunct psychology professor. In 2020, He was asked to accept a visiting professor of psychology position. He left Pfeiffer University and became an adjunct professor at Carolina University in 2024. During the summer of 2024, Dr. Dasher was asked to design and be the director of the graduate Pastoral Counseling program and Assistant Professor of Pastoral Counseling. He currently continues to teach psychology and counseling at Carolina University.

Outside of work, Dr. Dasher enjoys running, riding his motorcycle, and flying general aviation aircraft.
