About

Dr. Jerry Chandlee has three decades of experience as a sworn law enforcement officer in Florida and is currently in his 20th year as Chief of Police at the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind in St. Augustine. Dr. Chandlee is also a subject matter expert in school-based policing and has instructed approximately 1,000 school resource officers (SROs) across Florida on the SRO History, Model Programs, Philosophies, and Professional Practices curriculum in Florida’s basic SRO certification training program.
