Prof Herrero de Egaña is considered Spain’s leading 𝘚𝘰𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘐𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 Guru, a lifelong learner, a leader for social change.

Committed to the idea that a better world is possible, she makes it her mission to contribute significantly with all her means to a better world. Her career spanned nearly three decades at different International Non-Profit Civil Society Organizations, devoted to integral, human, and sustainable development in a variety of leadership roles and almost thirty Countries.

She leads Benefactor Social Innovation, a small private consultancy company, helping more than 100 Organizations (public, private, hybrid) to rethink their strategy and increase leadership & social impact.

She also leads 4Pi Network, a Non-Profit Organization, in its mission to contribute to a better world by making social innovation accessible, simple and effective.

Her research activity focuses on social innovation, as search and dissemination of new and good ideas to overcome Relevant Social Challenges: in her doctoral thesis she identified more than 3,000 case studies and, reinventing the Grounded Theory, she managed to define social innovation, differentiate it from other neighboring phenomena, etc.

Her doctoral dissertation was published for free in 2020 and has more than 5,000 downloads.

Whether it's teaching, mentoring or inspiring, new leaders, new entrepreneurs and social innovators, whether it's researching or spreading new examples of social innovation, she always tries to multiply the scope and social impact. She helps change makers and leaders from across sectors to find new solutions in an era of unprecedented disruption and potential for transformation.
