Jan Gregory was born in Vicksburg, Mississippi and attended Mississippi University for Women and then Mississippi State University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Art Education. She received her Masters of Religious Education degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri.

For 31 years Jan served as a pastor’s wife ministering in and through the local church. During these years Jan served as Director of Women’s Ministry and had the opportunity to teach adults in Bible study classes, retreats and conferences. She has written the curriculum for Bible studies and for prayer events as well as a Bible study based on the hymn “Come Thou Fount”.

On numerous occasions Jan has traveled to Guatemala where she taught conferences for minister’s wives at the Guatemalan Pastor’s Conference and has also been a speaker and conference leader for four years at the “Feminario” conference for women at the Guatemalan Baptist Seminary She also served as a keynote speaker for the 2019 “Transformada” women’s conference in Guatemala City sponsored by local Guatemalan churches. Jan also taught a Women’s Ministry course at the Canadian Baptist Seminary in Cochran Canada.
