Dr. Laura Cohen is a retired school administrator from Broward County, Florida. She has served as a classroom teacher, a school counselor, a school counseling director, a school-based administrator, and a district-level administrator. Her passion is helping children and young adults reach their highest potentials, and for training aspiring counselors, educators, and educational leaders to do the same!

Dr. Cohen earned her bachelor’s degree from The University of Miami in secondary education with majors in Spanish and TESOL. She earned her master’s degree in Counselor Education, a post-master’s certification in Educational Leadership and her doctoral degree in Counseling and Supervision from Florida Atlantic University. She is a nationally certified counselor and school counselor, as well as a certified teacher, counselor, and school leader in the State of Florida.

Dr. Cohen has three grown children and one granddaughter. Currently, Dr. Cohen lives in Tampa, Florida with her husband. She enjoys remote teaching, reading, swimming, babysitting her granddaughter and caring for her koi pond.
