Moriah Bias has had the honor of studying under several wonderful Voice Teachers as she earned both her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Vocal Performance. Upon completion of her Masters, she began teaching at Southeastern Freewill Baptist College, and served as Music Director at Calvary Baptist Church in Newton, NC for several years. She began teaching at Carolina University as a substitute in the Fall of 2015, and joined the University as an Adjunct Professor in the Fall of 2016. She employs several different methods in her vocal teaching style, including elements of Alexander Technique, and works with each student to find his or her unique voice.

She also believes in making learning fun, and strives to make her students laugh at least once every class. (“A merry heart does good, like medicine,” Proverbs 17:22a). In addition to teaching, Ms. Bias currently serves as the Music Director for Goodwill Baptist Church in Kernersville, NC. She loves to shop, and can never pass up a great deal on a pair of shoes.
